I’m Lily. I am a writer, tarot reader, and licensed psychotherapist with a private practice in Seattle. I hold a B.A. in Sociology from Wesleyan University, an M.A. in Women, Gender, Spirituality, and Social Justice from California Institute of Integral Studies, and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University. I am deeply passionate about the intersections of creativity, spirituality, connection, healing, and growth. In my life, writing has served as an act of self-expression, self-discovery, connection, and liberation. I am the author of the viral slam poem “Shrinking Women” and the young adult novel This Impossible Light, both of which focus on body image, familial relationships, and the societal pressures upon women to shrink ourselves. Inspired by these themes, I have given talks and led writing workshops at high schools, colleges, and other organizations including the Oregon Psychiatric Association, the Women's Therapy Centre Institute, and the TedX Wellesley College conference. I found my way to the tarot over ten years ago, and was instantly enchanted by its language. For the past decade, I have continually deepened my tarot practice and relationship to the cards. I have read for folks in all sorts of settings, from parties to psychedelic sessions to one-on-one consultations. I am also passionate about creatively combining tarot with other healing modalities, such as tarot-inspired journal prompts, writing courses, and teaching tarot-inspired yoga classes. Additionally, I am trained as a RYT-200 yoga teacher; I love practicing yoga as well as incorporating body-mind awareness and compassion into my offerings.
